Mercator geologists have worked extensively in the resource industry with both small and large mining companies. We offer a strong background in grassroots and advanced stage metallic mineral, industrial mineral, coal and coal bed methane, and oil and gas exploration projects. Project work has included detailed diamond drilling, surface and underground mapping, project research, data assessment, ore deposit modeling and resource estimation, and assessment of large scale open pit mining plans. Our professional team has extensive experience with Surpac block modeling of Inferred, Indicated and Measure Resources, including specific experience with data validation, quality assurance and quality control, and technical reporting to NI43-101 standards. Additional responsibilities have included the generation of conceptual models through the assessment of geophysical, geochemical and geological data in order to generate specific mineral targets. In-house computer applications and software assist clients with database design and development of, GIS (MapInfo, ArcGIS), diamond drill hole visualization (Discover, Discover 3D, Surpac), data analysis and deposit evaluation (Surpac), enhanced gridding and analysis of geological, geochemical and geophysical data (Discover, Discover 3D, Vertical Mapper), and 3D modeling (Surpac, Discover 3D) of geological and topographic data sets (XYZ, DEM, DRG).
